This is our 9 seater tour bus 🚌
Arrived at Ballycastle, everyone is so friendly and helpful, we were allowed to tee off a bit early, the first 5 holes were across the road and were country style holes with an old church and graveyard in the middle - the graveyard now has one of a Brian’s golf balls in the middle somewhere!!
The 6th hole starts the most breathtakingly beautiful 12 holes I have played in a long time. We worked our way slowly up the side of the cliff, trying to play good golf while admiring the views
It was mostly fine, quite warm, but windy at times. Jumpers on and off all round. We had 2 heavy rain showers that lasted only a couple of holes, but we all stayed perfectly dry in our wet weather gear when it was required.
Sean & Brian beat a Julie & I 6/5, seems to be a pattern with the big wins. Sean played really well and had the best individual score of 33 points. Sean had a birdie on the 9th, Brian had one on the 3rd and Julie had one on the 13th.
It really was a great course, the views were spectacular and we all enjoyed it.
We walked 11.4km, 18,677 steps and climbed 21 flights, yes, another hilly course but less pain today as our bodies are getting used to playing every day 😀😏⛳️
We had a quick drink after golf then headed to The Giants Causeway. It stayed fine, but was windy & cool by the causeway
Headed into Coleraine to our hotel. Shower and down to the hotel restaurant for dinner. Had a really nice meal before heading to our rooms for an early night. Brian will no doubt clean his shoes again before bed (an in joke here!!)
Tomorrow we are playing golf at Portstewart Golf Club.
